Place in Time is a series of site-specific dance works by Melissa Ajayi and collaborators that aims to promote connection to self, others, community and the world around us. Melissa is seeking 3-4 dancers for the second installment of the series which will take place June 4th and 5th 2022. This work will explore common human experiences across centuries and will encourage reflection on our collective past to inform decisions about our individual futures.

Stipend available.

Marquez Dance Project, artistic director Jenny Sandoval Eccher is seeking dancers for a new work to be performed May 6-7, 2022.

Marquez Dance Project explores human complexity through a creative lens. The intention behind our work is to recapture moments that speak to the community by raising questions about what is happening within our society, and challenging individuals to mobilize. We incorporate theatrical, physical and often surreal imagery to generate meaningful and provoking works. Dance is the central component, however we collaborate with other artists from different genres. Making these connections enriches the breadth of the work and allows a broader range of artistic investigation.

Stipend available.
